Description
This course will provide students with a working knowledge and history of student development theory and practice that will serve as a foundation for the course. Topics to be covered include understanding and using student development theory, including social identity theories, foundational theories, integrative theories, and ecological system theories. Future trends in student development theory will also be covered. Open to Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs students; others with Marxe School permission.
