Description

The goal of this course is to expose students to the four basic core personal financial planning areas: (i) tax planning (mainly income, estate, and gift tax) as it relates to personal financial planning; (ii) risk management; (iii) investments; and (iv) financial independence. It will explore the general principals of personal financial planning: statement of financial position, spending plans, and personal financial ratios. This course will focus on two disciplines: technical skills and subject matters associated with implementing a financial plan.
