Overview
Description
This course provides students with an overview of leadership in work organizations and how such talent is developed. A focus is placed on the theoretical foundations for the leadership construct as well as real-world issues that impact leadership development and assessment. An emphasis is placed on providing students with insight into their own leadership capabilities and on how to foster such skills.PSY 4184 may be used as an elective within the psychology major, as a capstone course for the psychology minor, or as a general elective for the BA, BBA, or BS degrees.Prerequisites: PSY 1001 and PSY 3181, or permission of department.
