Description

This course will familiarize students with major methodological approaches to the study of human behavior. Topics will include qualitative research, survey design, construct and experimental validity, experimentation, and research ethics. These topics will be introduced by way of several student-designed projects conducted over the course of the semester. (This course is not open to students who have completed PSY 5020). This is a required course for students who intend to complete a major in Psychology.Prerequisites: PSY 1001; STA 2000 or 2100; and departmental permission. BBA students must take STA 2000 to meet Zicklin School core curriculum requirements. BA students must take STA 2100.
