You will gain a strong understanding of what it means to ¿be green¿ from an employee perspective, how organizational-level variables relate to (and motivate) employees¿ responsible behaviors, and how to select, train, and motivate for individual environmental responsibility. Topics such as organizational interventions, leader vision, cross-cultural concepts of sustainability, and environmental deviance will also be discussed. Readings (research and case studies), assignments, and in-class exercises will be used to illustrate important principles of sustainable behavior in organizations.
