This course develops elementary school mathematics from an advanced viewpoint. Emphasis is placed on developing reasoning and problem-solving skills. Topics included are operations and algorithms in the system of whole numbers, arithmetic operations, decimals, ratio, proportion, geometry, and measurement and applications for transfer to the elementary school curriculum.
