Description
This is a course in the concepts, tools, and skills of basic business communication, both written and spoken. Using the case study method, the course offers practical experience in researching business problems, editing, and using language to reach different levels of the business audience. Among the types of materials covered are memos, letters, resumes, research reports, and oral presentations. Students are introduced to a broad spectrum of contemporary communication tools.
