Overview
Description
Students work in an organization appropriate to the major and under the supervision of both professional mentors and a faculty internship coordinator. Students contribute to online discussions, attend scheduled meetings, and submit a term report. (Students conduct a search and arrange interviews during the semester prior to requesting permission to enroll in the internship course. Prior to accepting a specific internship, students submit a brief proposal to the internship coordinator requesting approval and permission to register for the course. Students capabilities and organizational interests will be considered in approving appropriate internship sites.)
