Overview
Description
This course is a continuation of Chinese 2001 and is designed for non-heritage students who wish to improve their mastery of the four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students are drilled in pronunciation and the practical use of the language through conversation, role-playing, small group discussions, interviews, and individualized programs on microcomputers. An understanding of Chinese culture is acquired through the reading of short selections from major Chinese authors. Not open to students who have taken Chinese 2005 or 2006.
