Description

This course examines the history of international relations between the United States and Latin America since the wars of independence. The course analyzes ways in which diplomatic, political, economic, and cultural links have alteredthe relationship between the nations of the Western Hemisphere over time and the legacies of these interactions on the present day. (Students will receive credit for only one of the following courses: HIS 3073; LACS 3073; or LTS 3073. These courses may substitute for each other in the F-replacement policy).
