Overview
Description
This course examines the growing policy activism of American cities in the context of the U.S. federalism. It examines the politics and policies of both pro-immigrant and anti-immigrant cities, the various governmental and nongovernmental actors involved in local immigration policymaking, and the many city policy arenas in which immigrant issues are addressed.
