Description
This course focuses on theoretical and practical approaches to conflicts in intercultural and international communication contexts. Students examine the causes, expressions, and consequences of intercultural and international conflicts as well as conflict resolution principles, applications, and assessments. Topics include communication in intercultural conflicts within and across national borders, international conflict negotiation and peacebuilding, differences in conflictcommunication styles, factors that influence conflicts processes, and organizational responses to intercultural and international conflict.
