Description
The Special Topics in Theoretical Physics course is designed to be a Capstone course for students completing any of the various tracks of the Physics Minor at Baruch. Students will apply the physics and quantitative methods learned in basic courses to get initiated into the methods of research in theoretical physics. Each student is expected to present his/her progress each week in a 2.5 hour session with theother students under the supervision of the instructor. Possible areas of concentration include Nuclear andParticle Physics, Modern Physics, or Astrophysics.
