Overview
Description
This course examines legal argumentation in various contexts. In general, students will learn how to analyze legal arguments and how to make those arguments themselves. More specifically, students will learn how lawyers argue, from the granular level of legal vocabulary and motion drafting, to much broader levels of settlement negotiations and appellate briefs. Additionally, students will learn about the role of lawyers in American society and business.
