Description

This course provides an introduction to basic statistics commonly used in lifescience research. Topics will include experimental design, one-sample tests,the use of the linear model (including t-tests, ANOVA, ANCOVA, andregression), and an introduction to semi- and fully-non-parametric tests.Students will gain proficiency in using the R programming environment.(Students will receive credit for BIO 2100 or ENV 2100, not both. Thesecourses may substitute for each other in the F-replacement policy. BIO/ENV2100 is not open to students who have completed STA 2000 or STA 2100).
