Description

This course explores the structure and function of freshwater ecosystems with an emphasis on the interaction between the physiochemical environment and the behavioral and physiological adaptations of the organisms that inhabit them. All topics will include discussion of past and future human pressures on freshwater environments globally.

This course is cross-listed as ENV 3050. Students will receive credit for either BIO 3050 or ENV 3050, not both.
