This course introduces students to the various technologies used in e-business and their strategic implications. The course covers the current state of the industry and the strategic issues faced by e-businesses. It also provides an introduction to the technical infrastructure, business impact, and global considerations surrounding the analysis and implementation of e-business. The students learn what the various technologies are, how they work, and how organizations can use them to achieve competitive advantage. Students are exposed to a variety of resources and media, including articles from relevant industry publications, and demonstrations of existing e-businesses.
