Description

This course is an introduction to fundamental laboratory techniques of chemistry. Experiments include tritration, visible spectroscopy, inorganic synthesis and chemical analysis. The course also emphasizes communicating science through weekly graded laboratory reports and the preparation andoral presentation of a scientific paper. Co-requisite: CHM 1003L, unless transfer student has already satisfied requirement in Scientific Worldcategory. (Not open to students who have completed CHM 1000 or CHM 2003. Students who plan to major in Biological Sciences are advised to take CHM 2003.)
