Download as PDF
Overview
Description
The course emphasizes solving mathematical problems in the business and finance areas. The first half of the semester will cover fundamental topics in calculus: differentiation, integration, and sequences and series. The second half of the semester will cover linear algebra, including solving systems of linear equations, and move on to vector spaces, orthogonality, projections, eigenvalues, and matrix factorizations. Upon successful completion of this course, the students will be able to apply useful mathematical techniques, such as differentiation and integration, to solving real business problems.
