Overview
Description
Designed to provide a vehicle for the applications of statistical methodology to a variety of research problems. The course will require the integration of different techniques to find appropriate solutions. The course will also include determination of the appropriate statistical software for each problem as well as discussions of the availability of data sources for the development of suitable databases. The role of the statistician as technician, advisor, consultant, and/or team member will also be discussed.
