Statistical Analysis for Public Administration

Introduction to the application of statistical methods in decision-making situations in the public sector. Topics covered include the summary and description of data, probability distributions, sampling designs and distributions, statistical estimation and inferential statistics for hypothesis testing and linear and multiple regression and correlation analysis. Use of computer packages is integrated throughout the course.
