Description
Students heighten understanding and appreciation of the nature and role of debate in the democratic process. They develop the practical skills required in this art through a study of theory, exercise in the preparation and delivery of argumentative speeches, practice in debates, and projects in the critical assessments of arguments in the classroom and in public life.
