Description
This course focuses on significant literary texts written in a variety of genres during the nineteenth century. Emphasis is placed on themes and motifs as well as the cultural contexts of the literature. Authors may include Eugenio Maria de Hostos, Juan Francisco Manzano, Salome Urena, Manuel Zeno Gandia, and Alejandro Tapia.
