Community Organization
Overview
Description
An introduction to the major forms of community organization, their characteristics and special problems. Materials illustrating both successes and failures of urban voluntary associations will be used, and attention will be directed to such contemporary phenomena as decentralization and local involvement in community institutions, economic self-help groups, and the like.
