Social Problems
Overview
Description
The study of contemporary social issues that are viewed as problems from such perspectives as social pathology, social disorganization, value conflict, deviant behavior, and labeling. Attention will be given to definitions, causes, consequences, and conditions influencing social problems. Possible remedies will be explored.
