Description
This course provides an in-depth analysis of the major valuation models used to price, value and analyze real estate assets. The class emphasizes the importance of market analysis in the valuation and appraisal process. It provides students with a thorough exploration of the valuation models and techniques of market analysis that are employed in actual real estate appraisals. Students will conduct a market analysis of a major Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) and will perform appraisals on actual properties in several categories of real estate.
