Description
This course examines the role of psychology in the identification, evaluation, and resolution of community problems such as those encountered in mental health, educational, and criminal justice settings. Particular emphasis will be placed on the study of community mental health programs (e.g., crisis intervention, outpatient care, and mental health consultation) that prevent the development of psychological problems. This course is not open to students who previously enrolled in PSY 3045. This course is offered infrequently. It is not expected to be offered in 2010/2013.
