Overview
Description
This course is a continuation of PHY 2003 and of Pathways PHY 2002L & PHY 2001. The following topics are studied: special relativity, electricity and magnetism, geometric and physical optics, discovery of electron, photoelectric effect, atomic physics, quantum effects, nuclear physics, fundamental particles, and applications to biological systems and medical instrumentation. Not open to students who have completed PHY 3006 or PHY 3020.
