Description

This course is a bridge between academia and the professional nonprofit world, supporting and supplementing students in non-profit internships. It is an active student-centered learning experience that prepares professionals in nonprofit. This experience affords students the opportunity to demonstrate the skills and knowledge they have acquired during the formal academic process and to gain professional skills that will enhance their employability. The nonprofit organization benefits from the student's expertise and abilities and the student benefits from exposure to a real world laboratory that allows her/him to apply theoretical knowledge and gain practical experience. This course meets the requirement for American Humanism Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Program.
