This course covers fundamental mathematics relating to computer information system including matrix addition, multiplication, and inversion; Gaussian elimination for both unique and non-unique systems of linear equations; numeration systems; logic, truth tables, and logical arguments; product sets, relations and functions, partial and total orders; Boolean algebras, Boolean functions, and elementary switching theory; mathematical induction, permutations, combinations and binomialscoefficients; graphs and diagraphs, trees, matrices associated with graphs.
