Overview
Description
This course focuses on providing students with the requisite skills to understand and identify business creation opportunities associated with the Internet. Similar to the real-world business development process, this course is an eclectic combination of academic disciplines, including small business studies, entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, computer information systems, and political science. More specifically, the course explores how the current revolution in computer and information technology has enabled small businesses to spring up overnight and engage in commerce around the world at the touch of a button. Students will receive credit for MKT 9781 or MGT 9966, not both. Not open to students who have completed MGT 9866.
