Overview
Description
This course involves the in-depth study of the design, management, and improvement of business processes in various service and production industries. Students will first model and understand processes and their flows, and then study the causal relationships between process structure and key operational and financial performance metrics. Finally, students will formulate the implications for managerial actions by understanding managerial “levers” and their impact on process performance. The course uses a datadriven, quantitative modeling approach.
