Description

Study of the essential principles of business contracts under the Uniform Commercial Code, the General Obligations Law, and other New York State statutes. These principles are examined and applied to legal problems arising out of sale, leasing, licensing, and consignment of goods, wares, and merchandise, as well as the financing, shipment, and warehousing of merchandise. The course also deals with bailments (ordinary and extraordinary) and the rights and duties of the parties thereto. Also included is the law covering bulk sales of goods and assets of a business.
