Description
This course provides students with a rigorous introduction to the complex problems of risk measurement and management in financial institutions. The course surveys the major types of financial institutions and analyzes in depth the major risks facing each type. These risks include foreign exchange and sovereign risk, among others. The course derives relevant risk exposure of financial institutions. Not open to students who have previously taken FIN 3820
