Description

Supervised student teaching and internship in teaching the person with the handicapping condition of learning disability. 225 hours of guided observation and supervised teaching of which 40 will be in teaching reading and techniques of teaching reading for those persons with the handicapping condition of learning disability. The student will learn to design lessons, plan classroom activities, develop individualized instruction programs, and develop classroom management strategies in a school setting. The conferences are designed to assist the student in the preparation and presentation of materials relevant to teaching the person with the handicapping condition of learning disability.
