Description

This course is designed for non-heritage students who have taken at least a year of elementary Mandarin at the college level and who wish to continue the four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students are drilled in pronunciation and the practical use of the language through conversation, role-playing, small group discussions, interviews, and individualized programs on microcomputers. Components of Chinese culture will be integrated through readings, field trips and realia. Not open to students who have taken Chinese 2005 or 2006.
