Description
A survey of culture and society in Mediterranean Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, etc.). The focus is on recent community studies, with particular attention to ecology, social organization, industrialization, immigration, andpolitics on both local and national levels. (This course is equi v alent to ANT 3112. Students may receive credit for either SOC 3112 or ANT 3112. These courses may not substitute for each other in the F grade replacement policy.
