Learning in a Cross-Cultural Context

This course combining anthropology and education examines how culture is transmitted, i.e., how learning occurs cross-culturally. The class will then be able to make comparisons with learning and education in the United States, especially the formal education that takes place in American schools. The overriding concern is the association between learning and culture.
